At the start of 2024 we have much to be thankful for here in the Parish of Stranorlar for 2023. A sincere thanks to the many committed people who give of their time and talents to plan and organise. Many people put a lot of effort into parish ministries. The church is looking very well and this is due to the hard work of the Cleaners, Church Indoor & Outdoor Environment Groups, Altar Society and those who erected the Christmas Trees, the Indoor Crib and the Men’s Shed for the Outdoor Crib. The Parish Pastoral Council, Liturgy Group, Choir Members Adults and Children, Eucharistic Adoration Committee, Building & Maintenance Committee, Graveyard Committee, Funeral Car Parking Group, Ministers of the Word & Eucharist, Sacristan, Money Counting Team, Distributors of Envelopes, Finance Committee, Hospitality Group, Social Services & Care of the Aged Group, Foreign National Support Group and the Third World Group all continue to give great service. The St. Vincent de Paul, Legion of Mary, continue to provide a very important pastoral outreach. The Fund-raising and Parish Centre Committees have put in an enormous amount of work to keep the Centre running so efficiently.
