Funerals Arrangements

Baptism Arrangements
BAPTISMS: Every Sunday -12 noon & 1st Saturday of every month. To book contact the Parish Office on 9131135 on Fridays between 10 am & 12.30 pm or by email stranorlarparish@gmail.com. (Please give two
weeks notice) The Baptism Teams are available to visit families in advance of the baptism.

Confirmation
Confirmation is celebrated each year in our parish. Confirmation 2024: Bishop Alan McGuckian will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on the children of the parish on Saturday 4th May at 11.30am.

Eucharist and First Communion
First Communion ceremonies take place in the month of May. A programme of preparation takes place throughout the year. First Holy Communion 2024: The 2nd class children from St. Mary’s N.S. will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday 11th May at 11am.
The 2nd class children from Dooish N.S. , Robertson N.S. and Welchtown N.S. will receive their First Holy Communion on Saturday 18th May at 11am.

Reconciliation (Confession)
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) takes place:
Each Saturday 12noon to 1.00 pm and 5.15pm to 5.45 pm.

Housebound and Sacrament of the Sick
The Tuesday and Wednesday after the 1st Friday of the month, the priests visit the housebound with Holy Communion. If you are unable to attend Mass due to illness or frailty and would like to be visited by a priest, please feel free to contact the priests to be included on the First Friday visits.
