The death has occurred of Josephine McGowan, The Glebe, Stranorlar. Peacefully, at the home of her daughter Marie. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, son John, infants Michael Thomas, Mary and Ann. Sadly missed by her loving family Tony, Patrick, Eamonn, Christopher, Noel, Joan (McDermott) and Marie (McGirr). Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, 36 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many loyal friends.

Josephine’s remains will be reposing at her late home, The Glebe, Stranorlar tomorrow, Friday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral leaving her home on Sunday at 10.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11 o’clock. Interment immediately afterwards in St. Mary’s Churchyard, Sessiaghoneill, Ballybofey.
